Apply now for a Military Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG)
Southwestern College Professional Studies is committed to providing a supportive environment for our military learners. In light of the Department of Defense (DoD) suspension of tuition assistance (TA), Southwestern College Professional Studies has implemented the Military Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG). Through MTAG, all current Southwestern College TA-eligible military learners in both Graduate and Undergraduate programs (on ground or online), who were enrolled in at least one course from Fall 1 2012 through Spring 2 2013, may receive a Southwestern College grant. MTAG applies to Spring 3 courses (April 1 through May 12, 2013) and:
- Grants up to $250/credit hour (TA equivalent), with a maximum 3 credit hours, to replace suspended DoD TA funds. (Total TA assistance from the government and Southwestern College not to exceed the $4500 yearly military TA cap)
- Students who have already enrolled for Spring 3 and who are TA-eligible may also apply for MTAG
In order to receive the MTAG, eligible learners must submit their application by Thursday, March 28, 2013.
Don’t wait. Complete your application now to take advantage of MTAG!
