Tuition Assistance
Active duty service members can receive up to $4,500 per fiscal year (October 1 - September 30) through the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Program. To maximize your benefits, Southwestern College offers a tuition discount for active duty personnel and their spouses, Guard members, Reservists and DOD civilians/contractors.

Top-up Benefits
Extra education dollars are available to those approved for tuition assistance and eligible for MGIB-Active Duty benefits. In some cases, these benefits cover the entire cost of your program.

Veterans' Benefits
A full range of benefits and programs are available to veterans. Southwestern College is approved for veteran educational benefits. To determine your eligibility, call the Veterans Benefits Administration at 1-888-GI-BILL-1 or visit their website www.gibill.va.gov.
